Good intentions or not...
What you did is illegal in all 50 states. Now the cat is out of the bag and the new owner has a fake 914-6. Sure it's a nice car but it is fraud. CHP would have and still might crush it due to the fake VIN. The new owner will be out all his money if caught. You could have fixed up the silver roller with a 3.6L with the -4 VIN and be fine. You wanted a 914-6 and fraudulently changed the VIN. There is no excuse for this. |
