I just put in new bronze coupler bushings on my side-shifter, and am looking to tighten up the linkage as much as I can. Question: are bronze shift rod bushings at the transmission available? I'm talking about replacing the plastic bushing that snaps in at the transmission, the shift rod goes through it. The plastic ones I've had always have had slop even when new. Thanks...

I have the PMS unit in both my cars. They are nice and tight! I had another brand that was a sloppy fit.
