I just put in new bronze coupler bushings on my side-shifter, and am looking to tighten up the linkage as much as I can. Question: are bronze shift rod bushings at the transmission available? I'm talking about replacing the plastic bushing that snaps in at the transmission, the shift rod goes through it. The plastic ones I've had always have had slop even when new. Thanks...

That's what mine looks like. That with my Tangerine firewall bearing makes for pretty tidy shifting.
I bought mine from GPR but I cant find it on their site anymore. Just URO and OEM.
