Look at the horizontal number near the flywheel, next to the oil pressure switch you'll find 901/ 38
If so, the engine IS a 914 6 The numbers on the vertical fan support are bogus. This is easily verified. If you don't see a type number ( in this format; 911/38.... is a 911 RS engine) on the right engine case under the fan saddle it is not a 911 engine. Someone wanted this to appear to be 911 engine. They probably thought it was a replacement block because it had no numbers there. |
