Trying to figure out the guts of my 2.0 so that I can have my carbs tuned for the engine. How do I identify this, is this the bolt on web cam gear, or is it stock, and is the number on the cam significant?
Thanks Chris (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i219.photobucket.com-13409-1474757784.1.jpg) |

Some cool info I've found (vwvortex)
QUOTE There's a paragraph on it in Per Schoroder's book "Volkswagen Sport Tuning for Street and Competition". It's starts as full advance at low RPM and retards at high RPM. There is a bunch of weights and springs that centrifugally retard timing as RPM increases. Techtonics dyno it with about a 2hp gain down low without a loss on the high end. It was quite expensive at around $300.00. Anybody have any more info? Attached image(s) |
