some got brought in when the grey market Porsche importing was big late 70-80s..one sold down in seattle area a couple of years ago. my son and I put the engine back in it so it could be transported to CA.
I actually looked at the 914-6 in 1978 and passed , it was a mess back then,rusty.. Tyler bought it, drove it 1 mnoth before the trailing arm mount tore off,,sat on jackstands since 1978 http://barnfinds.com/unfinished-dream-1970-porsche-914-6/ there was also a euro 72 p14-6 for sale in seattle about 1983, passed on that one also , every corner had been hit.. Its still in seattle or Arizona,, but restored as a GT lookand is grey ..og was orange |
