There are 2 keys for this car I just picked up. A red key which was in the ignition, that was on the floor and a black key which I found in the ashtray. They are very different looking. The black key seems to work. What is the red key for?

In the interest of complete information.
The master key (black) fits and works all locks on the car. The valet key (red) unlocks the doors and operates the ignition only, It will not unlock the front trunk or the glove box. If entrusting your car to a valet you would give the red key only, thus keeping your locked compartments out of reach to the valet . |
