I know I know the six sounds great in a 914 but I would like to calm the noise a little inside the car.
Is it possible to fit 5mm thick sound deadening under the backpad? I already have the factory tarboard ? in place so not sure if theres room. |

Put dynamat (and/or a similar product) on the back of mine, and the stock backpad fits fine. I did it a little for the sound, and maybe a little more to block the heat. Sweatyback is bad enough in the summer without adding engine heat to the equation. My car is loud AF anyway.
