Did someone organize a bumper rechroming group buy in the past? I thought I read that some where? I was wondering if it was worth to try and organize another one?

Here's the latest poop on these bumpers from Harrington:
The price for a set of Porsche 914 bumpers is USD 1,661 including shipping. Please note that we supply two types of Porsche 914 bumpers: in EU Version and US Version- please let me know which one you require. As far as I know, there are 2 types of the rear bumpers for Porsche 914: early type (the edges of the indent are square) and the later type (the edges of the indent are round). I have attached a photo at the bottom of this email. Please let me know which type you require. Both the front and the rear bumpers can come with or without holes for the number plates. The rear bumper can also come with or without hole for tow hook (please see pictures below). Please advise if you want to have these holes pre-drilled. We also supply the tow plug for an additional of USD 30. Please let me know if you are interested. We can have the bumpers ready for shipping within 35 working days after receipt of payment and confirmation. Shipping is with DHL airfreight which only takes 3-4 days straight to your door. With regards to payment - we accept Paypal, Bank transfer. In case you decide to order, please let me know which method you prefer, I will then send you more details.[b] So pretty much ala carte....as you like. |
