For sale is my 1975 Porsche 914 with a ported 13b Mazda Rotary engine.
SOLD SOLD SOLD! Thanks for the interest everyone. Staying in the Bay Area! Details: - Mazda 13B ported rotary engine with a heavily ported Nikki carb (Mileage unknown) - Good shifting 901 side shift trans - Front Mount oil cooler - Fresh PMB 911 brakes - New Koni adjustable shocks - 5 lug conversion - Bumper back date(Rear) (Steel with new 914rubber top) - Bumper back date(front) (Fiberglass GT bumper & GT valence) - Car comes with steel front bumper and new 914rubber top as well for the front - Electric trunk pop - 15x7 Fuchs all around freshly powder coated gunmetal grey - Brand new HanKook Ventus R-S3 summer tires - Lowered about as low as you can go on the street by High Performance House in Redwood City Ca - New giant Flexalite fan with shroud to keep temps cool in the hot summer months. It hasn't needed the fan in the winter thus far. - Comes with a box of extra parts like the factory chrome mirrors and assorted parts that have come off the car in the past. Body is rust free as they come, solid longs and suspension points. Hell hole is solid as per typical in CA cars. Driving experience: I have owned a v8 conversion car and a Porsche 6 conversion. This car beats both of them on mountain driving. Light weight, low to the ground and the ported rotary feels like high HP 2 stroke engine. Lots of fun RPM range to play with and draws lots of attention with its aggressive idle (due to porting). What does it need? - One of the seats need recovering - The targa top has a few rub marks from trunk storage & could use new felts (squeaky) - The gas tank needs the vapor system looked at as when it is full you smell gas fumes You can hear it idle here: https://youtu.be/hHGN-QjFdBg (Sorry for the night video, will try to get some new daytime videos.) Here is a daylight idle video: Click here Here is a cold start video: Click Here This can be picked up and driven home no problems. PM me if you are interested. |
