These remain seriously attractive, even without heat. Really nice work, Marty.
If they had reasonably non-hoopty, factory-ish pressed steel heat exchanger boxes (more SSI, less "boxy") plus an option for Jet Hot—even if that added $1000. With Jet Hot, who needs stainless? I wonder if heater boxes could even be made in such a way where the pipe hole halves could be "adjusted" or ground down to account for the larger pipe sizes? Just asking, Marty—because I'd like to be an MSDS customer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And...love that they are made here. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) Not to derail Marty's post, but I'd check with Jet Hot, they might not recommend that application due to fumes and out gassing of the coating. Those BMW headers are slick! |
