Carbs aren't tipped, the filter bases are to clear the cage. Didn't Jake and Len have a car that spun crazy rpm and the fan grenaded?

I routinely stretched 3rd to 8200, especially at Roebling Road in turn 5. What killed the fan at Barber was banging against the rev limiter. It was too harsh.

I would never argue someones performance claim without firsthand knowledge, but the idea of stretching a gear to 11k on a T4 is one that I find hard/impossible to believe.
