From my 82 SC I have a set of wheels and want to know if they would work on a teener with slightly flared rear fenders without using massive negative camber. The 914 is lowered and currently is on 15s, 6 and 7s.
Most importantly, what size tires? Would like to mount BFG Comp T/As Much grass |

I'm running 16x7 23.3et all 4 corners w/ 205/45 Toyo R888R's. I grabbed the rear fenders by hand and brutely yet gently pulled them out a couple mm. Fits like a charm (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I bought 205/50/16 Yokohama S-Drive tires yet to be mounted. I figure some rear fender mods will be needed. I also have both a full set of 6x15 and 7x15 Cookie Cutters. |

I am trying to get away from 15s to get away from the limited assortment of performance tires, especially S Drives. They grip well but but during hard cornering at speed, the sidewalls load up and when they release, they spring back like rubber bands totally unsettling the car. At 50+ going into a curve is a white knuckle experience. I love my Conti DWs on my 911 and abuse the hell out of them and they behave predictably. BFG Comp TAs also get extremely high marks. |
