Hi we are getting ready to install a 1974 2.0 with a carburetor but don't know what to do with the Tempature Sensonr wire that comes from the motor. We found it in the EFI harness. Is there a way to directly wire and if so where does it go? Thanks in advance!

I do hope you mean carburetors, as it two...
The only way to be sure a single carb works proper is to test the float. Toss the carb in a lake and if it floats it's good to use. The temp sensor is only for the FI, remove it, tuck it away or snip the wire off. |
