I have a conversion (74) that is ready to go to new home. Trying to install the spare but have issue with fit.
Car has 16 X 6 Fuchs but tire is too large to lie correctly in the stock location in the front trunk. Has anyone had specific experience and if so what size tire will allow it to fit with board on top as it is suppose to be. ...or will 16 just not fit? Thanks |

I made an edit:
edit: My spare 16x6" wheel that fits w/o issue (front or back) is 195/50/16, total diameter is 23.5" A 951 spacesaver set I have for the 356, still with spacesaver tires mounted are: 165/15, total diameter 19.75" deflated. |
