Hi Guys,
I am faced with needing to fix up/replace the top dash pad. Will a dash cover (around $100-130) suffice? Or is it a better idea just to save that money and apply it towards the new pad ($550)? Thanks as always for the advice, Ross |

I don't know if Stoddard gets theirs from 914rubber but they charge $900 (that's a lot!) vs $550. And 914rubber makes a top quality product- I have one for one of my cars, So...Ross, if you are planning on keeping your car for a while, go for the 914rubber dash pad. It's worth the money. If you just don't want to look at a cracked dash, buy the better quality (thicker) plastic) dash topper. It can usually go on without glue. Some time in the sun will let it mold to the dash and look pretty decent if not a bit shiny.
PS - mark's (914rubber) shipping is super reasonable Yes, I'm a fan just as he is a big fan of our cars and goes out of his way to support them and the guys who own them. |

Hi Mark,
"buy the better quality (thicker) plastic dash topper" There are a lot of dash caps out there. Do you know one that is better? Thanks and hope you are doing well, Ross |
