Hi all. It has been a while. I revived my 914 from an engine fire a couple years ago but it has been sitting idle for about a year. Tomorrow I start my project list, including installing a modern fuse box, finally getting the lights/brakelights to be reliable, steering wheel bushing, new ignition switch, maybe even getting the wipers to work.
It is running well, however I need to let it run for about 5 mins before I can hit the throttle. Otherwise it stalls. After some time passes it runs and drives well. Running original ljet FI. 1.8 engine. Any suggestions where to go first on the warmup issue? thanks in advance, chew |

Check your AAR valve. It might be stuck open.
