Hello I have a 1974 2.0 motor and the previous owner must not have the proper tool and took a more brutal approach to remove, its disfigured and leaks. I have a 1973 1.8 but that cap won't fit. The Auto Atlanta site says the part is discontinued. I've seen tons of caps but with a hex bolt. Can someone point me to a source or let me know if the ones I'm seeing will fit? Thanks

Same type of drain plug as my Audi 3.0TDI ,a right PITA to undo,the internal hex gets stripped out rather easily,good to see you have a solution.
