Every now and then my 1.7 seems to be only running on 3 cylinders ,very sluggish and lack of power.The car is running on FI but also did this when it had carbs.If you park up for a while it seems to go back to normal and run well for another while

That pretty much leaves ignition and valves. When was the last time you did a basic tuneup? Might be time for new points and condenser, and a valve adjustment. |
