LE Spoiler $400
Some cars don't deserve nice things. Mine's one of 'em so this needs to move on to a good home. Here's the story. PO cracked whatever he had on the car and called Porsche and said get me a new one. They sent this and the car didn't go much further. This was around the late 80's according to him. To quote "Boy, I didn't know they made reproductions. I could have saved a lot of money". Anyway I stripped off the black paint to verify what was underneath and repaired two small spots. The first was the mounting hole top passenger corner and the second was next to but not involved with the passenger square bracket hole. I used West marine epoxy with 806 filler and gelcoat over. Neither spot as big as a dime. Also there are some kind of speckles exactly like this one. I thought maybe there was something on there or something. I carefully went into one and it didn't seem to enlarge so it's not thin gelcoat and its not on top so it must be something in their process. I didn't want to get too invasive but I would mention it to the painter since mine speckled just like the other one did. This is as nice a spoiler as you're going to see and I'd really like to ensure it goes to an LE car but I'm not sure how to do that. I have made up a plywood shipping box out of luan. About 25Lbs. I have more pictures if you need. $400 plus shipping. I like cash but Paypal would be fine if you pay the fee. Thanks for looking, [attachmentid=609 075] Chris Attached image(s) |
