To follow up with this focus (spelled properly....) group, a question:
What are the symptoms of needing this solid gold bearing that sports such a low keyed finish? 1971 early car.. My steering wheel can be lifted about an eighth of an inch up and down in its column bearing (and collar?) / kinda a clunk but not noticeable when steering. I have been told it is a worn out collar of some sort.... and maybe not a bearing worth more than a steering wheel, hub, nut, wavy washer,.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) Thanks for the info via PM so as not to (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sheeplove.gif) with the posters gone postal. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) |
