My e-brake gauge light was always on. Somewhere in the wire there is a short,
it's not the switch under the handle. The wire seems to go down the left long toward the firewall, but then where is it going physically? For now it's disconnected but I'd like to try to find the short sometime. Thanks |

Check your switch on the master cylinder. It may need to be reset.

Check your switch on the master cylinder. It may need to be reset. If you have a 19mm master cylinder. Original 17mm MC have two wire connections and no switch. But, that's a great thought Andy. The flashing light has two possible meanings: 1) eBrake is on 2) brake pressure is (or has been) unequal between the front and rear brake circuits. |
