Count me and my dad in tentatively. so two people, and two 914's. We have a race in Sonoma two weekends after, so assuming there it nothing bad happening with the car, we should be there.

Also, I weld, have a welder, and can give MIG tutorials. if someone can bring a bunch of cleanish scrap steel, I can give demos.

You are ON. I have all we need in terms of welding gear and clean scrap metal. Perhaps we will need extra welding helmets. I will send you a pic of what I have to get your input
