So much sticky goo on the defroster vents. Is that whats left of the original seals or was there an adhesive used too?

IIRC, the 914rubber.com seals come with glue on one side. Just remove the tape-like backing. I slid mine on then trimmed the backing and pulled it off. Did it that way so they would not stick in the wrong place going over the wide horn.
Scrape off what you can, get some GOO-gone and keep scraping. |
