Cool shot of the 914 participants at Golden Gate PCA Auto-X on Sunday.
Interesting that 914s cover the entire classifications from AX2 to AX16 The Orange monster and the Blue/silver cars run AX2 , while yours truly in the stock '73 (yellow) runs in AX16 |

GREAT shot!
Andrew's fastest time in 222, which would have won the event, was coned away. Too bad, but I guess just 0.2xx off TTOD, for third, isn't bad; tight group on the podium. Nice going Andrew! I wish Andrew had run 222 at Parade. http://pca-ggr.org/wp-content/uploads/2017...lass_prelim.htm |

It's a brutal car! Dang I was happy being under second off those fast 914s my first time out with my new suspension and fat tires. Kinda cool chasing 914 race cars in their newer big brother and keeping up finally. Took getting Cayman down to 2175 lbs before it really started to scoot. I still have easy 100 lbs to remove so will be fun to see how it fairs against the fast 914s once it's closer to 2000 lbs. |
