I have been working with some of our proven vendors pursing a 2056 or larger motor build. I have some great parts in my current motor a 2056 with big valve heads but the stock cam and tired bottom half leaves much to be desired. After taking on a number of winter improvements I find myself somewhat cash limited for this improvement.
So i am looking at spending $4k on updating the bottoms half of my engine. I would like to go to a 78mm crank making the build a 2.3 and stick with my Micro squirt and big valve heads. But before I go this build route I thought I would ask if there were any proven recent build engine options out there in my price range. Would love a 6 but the conversion would push it out of my range. Anyone have options before I go the 2.3 build? |
