How much would you expect to pay for an original 914-6 engine that is in need of a rebuild? I have the engine serial number code... where can one verify that it's an actual original 6 from a 914?

Yes not worth a lot but generally these motors don't suffer like the later mag case 2.7 for example ,will run for a fair while before they just wear out ,sad thing is the body has turned to dust and been scrapped long before.
Would be interesting to know how many real six's are around now...can't be many left from a small production run,makes sense good conversions are moving up in value. |
