All,
I am currently looking for some suggestions for the 2005 MUSR site. I want to try to keep it to the NE Texas, SW Arkansas area. I think that getting it somewhere farther south will draw in more Houston/Austin people without forcing the Arkansas/Oklahoma people to not come. Any suggestions? |

Any of these three: northern Texas, southeastern Oklahoma, or southwestern Arkansas, strike a very good geographical balance. Timewise, I would suggest rolling the date back to September. First, it would present a larger time frame between two major 914 events (FFC & MUSR). Second, there would be MUCH less chance of RAIN (3.7" in Sep as opposed to 5.2" in Oct). My bicycling group no longer schedules races in Oct. for this very reason. |
