Weld an oversize patch, same size patch, or rivet two 1" fender washers together from each side?

Take you mig and weld in circle until you fill the hole. Knock the brass stock off the back and gring smooth.


But whatever you do, don't try to use a ring. I've never seen a ring that would plug a hole...
