here's a few pic's of some parts I've been working on

1700 heads I've modified at work, from this

at home , needed more cc (61) to get compression down

Here's a few more details ( parts that I have acquired )

2.5t litre ( t = turbo )
100mm nickies with custom machined groove
custom JE pistons ( .300 crown, allowing for .150-.200 protrusion out cylinder
into chamber )
80mm chevy journal 4340 forged crank
cb 5.325 h-beam rods chevy journal
raceware long studs
1700 W case (decked ,machined for cylinders,drilled for 1/2" bolts ,& a few other mods )
1/2 case bolts
1700 heads with 42x36 ss valves (vw650 springs & ti retainers) plus machined step groove between cyl. & head
9.2 to 1 c.r. (61cc chambers with 9cc dish in piston ) with .038 deck

pauter cam K8O3 on 110* LC, in. 288* adv. /255@.050 x .384 lobe lift , ex.296* adv. /268@.050 x .398 lobe lift
type 4 rockers 1.3 with porsche adj.

on order from KEP (kennedy engineered products) 228mm twin disc system
with organic pads for streetable use

1-7/8 4-2-1 CFR Tangerine exaust , will modify with flange coupling for turbo ( its probably to big but its what I have to work with ,its on my running 2.8 )

putting together a HORIZONTAL fan shroud system (I picked up a incomplete kit )

extra set of cb 48mm throttle bodies with hats
megasquirt2 exta inj & ign. (running in car on 2.8 twinplug)
I also have a cb quicktune system & a mallory unilite distributor (lockable)


still need
turbocharger (trying to FIGURE out which one)
water meth injection
air to air intercooler
plus more I cant think of

this is my first attempt at a turbo motor so I'm sure I'll make a few
mistakes along the way ,
my plan is low boost with 9to1 cr , along with the small ports on the 1700 heads
allowing for snappier throttle response maybe quicker spool ?
