Sources have indicated that someone who shall remain nameless but has the initials "Mike Ginter" is going ahead with plans to mount 39 Cheby headlights on his ride. Some go with Cheby engines and others... well.

Despite the fact that I love the way a 928 drives on the highway, I never did like the headlight setup. You get all the complexity of a hidden headlight, but the headlight is exposed to rocks, road debris, and any falling object 24 hours a day. With the setup on the 914/924/944, the headlights are covered during driving in daylight, and are not subject to the abuse the exposed headlights on a 928 could potentially receive.
