here's a few pic's of some parts I've been working on
1700 heads I've modified at work, from this to this (machined step & groove), chamber porting was done at home , needed more cc (61) to get compression down custom 100mm JE pistons ( thank you Charles @ LN engineering) machined piston crown pocket (9cc) |

Don't have anything constructive to add, but do you have an HVLH? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) All of the parts look great!! HVLH ? if you mean a hardinge precision tool room lathe , then yes we have 2 of them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) , their older but in great condition , |

HVLH ? if you mean a hardinge precision tool room lathe , then yes we have 2 of them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) , their older but in great condition , Awesome build .... Would love to have one of those Hardinge lathes at home...I think we have about 20 at work...I'd also take a Monarch EE lathe at home! Proposed HP level you are shooting for? What are you doing for fuel and ignition? |

As far as HP, 250 I would be happy ,300 would make me happyhappy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif) , any more than that I dont think would be as much fun , besides I would prefer torque over HP ,this is a weekend hot rod & not a race car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) As for fuel & spark , I'm running a MS2 xtra with sequential fuel & ign. on my 2.8 twin plug it's supposed to have a map daddy ? installed I also have a CB Quicktune efi with boost map sensor & a mallory unilite , that can be locked, old school (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) , thank you Bill D. |
