This stock oil pump came from a running motor. I didn't have a guage, but the dummy light always stayed off.
Is this normal or is this pump dead? Surprisingly it feels smooth to the touch. |

Yes, the engine sat in my SoCal garage for about 3 years not running, but assembled and full of oil.
Is this the pin your're referring. It's solid, so I'm glad I don't have to go shopping for a new pump. |
