This is my latest dumb question as I continue to pretend I'm getting close enough to spraying paint to justify buying supplies. Any thoughts on using masking paper vs. masking plastic? Looks like masking plastic might be cheaper. On Youtube, Donnie Smith says both work well, but paper is a little easier for beginners to work with. Thought?

Thanks. I was just giving you guys a hard time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) After obsessing om mor Youtube last night, I'll get a little of both because, like you said, each is handy for its own use. Since this is a bare metal rotisserie spray, it mostly masking big areas (interior areas with single stage vs exterior with two stage). For masking tape, I'm ordering a few rolls of the yellow 3M brand tape. Seems like what most of the guys on Youtube are using (or the green Scotch brand). I'm not a fan of regular masking tape either. Thanks again for the input guys. I'm sure there will be more stupid question to come. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
