Guesstimates on this color? Options

This is a 1974 car, but not the original paint ( it was Olympic blue). It's a copper color, now faded due to the sun, but it suits the card in my eyes and I'm wondering if anyone recognizes an approximate Porsche color.

You can look at Jim's Copper 75 in the pix from the PCA-GPX breakfast last Saturday, for what it looks like in good condition.

There are also pix of 914s in most of the 914 factory colors on p914.com (.net & .org) when you're trying to figure out colors on 914s, & they also have a lot of originality & what stuff was on which MYs there.

I can't say whether the one in your pix is repainted in the official Porsche/914 L99K Copper Metallic.

There are a few other 914s which were resprayed at some point in that color, including mine from 76-80.

While I liked the color on my 914, by my 1980 rolling resto I changed it because it looked like metallic orange in our SoCal sun & attracted too much attention from the PD/CHP etc. - so I went to the "Pavement Cammo" Anthracite Grey Metallic in my avatar pic, which then got very little attention!
