There are two stiff springs on rods in the shift console, one just in front of the shifter and one just behind. One of the springclips on a shaft is gone and the rod backed out of the housing far enough for the spring to slip out of the housing.
Stuffing the spring back into the housing is tough. Anybody have any ideas or tips? Picture attached, #3 and 4 Thanks, |

Above directions but use a vice grip to hold spring and push it down and wear leather gloves and eye protection because the spring can shoot out with a lot of force.
