Hi guys - there’s been some discussion hear about the car that may/may not need a suspension console replaced.

I’m not actually looking at that car, but it didn’t raise a question about what that costs to have a professional do it.

I know costs were very by regions etc., but is there a ball park just for educational purposes?

Thanks!

Having cut through that section it's not as bad as I thought.

Because the console hangs from the back of the long it is not technically structural. This is not saying it's not important to make sure it's reinstalled correctly, just saying the car won't fold in half if you miss a weld point.

If you have the time to salvage the part and take the correct measurements before you start and while installing, it could be done by an average welder in a weekend.
