I'm surprised a turbo was the loudest; usually the turbocharger muffles things, at least to some extent. I would have figured that a 908 or a 917 (N/A) would have been louder.

The higher frequency noise generated by the turbo which is not as unpleasant to human ears might have really contributed to the measured sound level. |
