The factory manual and PET show an overflow tube from the brake reservoir. None of my 914s had them so I've never seen one. Did they really exist? If so, how were they attached? I see the vent on my reservoir but no place to attach a tube. I can't see anyplace that looks like something broke off either. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

My '72 has a vent tube, too.
BTW, you'll need the tube in order to block off the vent if you ever want to pressure bleed. Yep, found that out the hard way.. |
