I've been considering cutting the heater tin off the exhaust pipe. It's in the way of doing valve adjustments, and it's just an oil and dirt collector. It does seem to be in good shape though.
My car did not come with any of the related engine-side heater stuff, other than the heat exchanger itself. So I don't currently have heat, nor do I have any plans to add heat. The car is an autocross toy and occasional weekend driver. However, I have been trying to make only modifications that are relatively easily reversible, to preserve any future value of having a 'stock' car. I don't want to destroy something that has value. I searched the site, but didn't find much info. Thoughts? |
