Current Ebay ad for an NOS 1976 owners manual. 2.0L and 1.8L indicated on the cover. Dated 9/75.

Maybe it was cheaper to replace one page (especially in the US for legal reasons) in the manual than reprinting the cover of all those extra Manuals sitting around.
