Yes. I guess it smooths out the transition. Yea, probably a filler for carpet. Thanks for the reply. Yes, it's part of the pieces added into the passenger side floor as needed to shorten the space when they eliminated the "dog-bone" footrest of the 1970-71 models with the fixed passenger seat. You should have some other filler going across the passenger footwell too. If not, check with 914Rubber, as IIRC the took over the repro footwell piece with a speaker space from 914A&P (James). You can use with or without a speaker in it. Otherwise, source one from a parts car 914. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Tom /////// |
