Met a guy at Amelia Island Werks Reunion who said he once owned a 914 with a 3.2 six and it had a Boxster S transmission. He did not do the build himself, said he bought it that way. I'm going down the 915 path currently. Never heard of this combo but was wondering if anyone had? Pros/ cons.

I believe the issue is no starter provision. The modern porsche/vw/Audi transaxles have the starter on the motor side.
