I think I missed the boat with the Euromeister fuch look a likes. Looks like Pelican has my 17x7" but not any 17x9". I'm not sure what happened with Automotion, as their website redirects to a weird site. Is there a place where we can still buy these?

I have a set of Euromeisters on my 930. 7x17; 9x17. Didn't have any issues balancing.
I had them road-force balanced. Beautifully smooth ride. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Never heard of that type of balancing. How much difference in price was it compared to a typical balancer? I would imagine it would be difficult to find a shop that does balancing this way. |

Never heard of that type of balancing. How much difference in price was it compared to a typical balancer? I would imagine it would be difficult to find a shop that does balancing this way. The place I go to is in Plum outside of Pittsburgh called Golden Mile Tire. A guy at work recommended them. It cost $100 for 4 tires and well worth it. I didn't have the 930 w/Euros done there and had a bit of vibration; not much; just a little bit. Then I noticed a string of wheel weights sitting on the garage floor where the car was parked and the vibration got worse. Took it to Carl at Golden Mile Tire and all vibration was gone. Zero. It makes perfect sense. Spinning the wheel in the air when balancing is fine but the tire isn't run like that. It spins with the weight of the car on it and where that weight is the tire is flatten. So why not balance it with that weight on the wheel? |

For most drivers the difference probably not important but for perfectionists with a higher end car i can see doing this? Or unless you're someone with OCD. @bbrock , @tygaboy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) |
