Where in northern LA County or Ventura County can I buy a front windshield? I've heard Porsche still sells them, and they are really expensive. Where can I get a decent aftermarket one?
Also, I'd appreciate any recommendations for installers. I may try to do this myself, but I want to call around anyway, if for no other reason than to see how much money I'd save if I did it myself. I did a search on this site and didn't find anything. |

I got a Semperit one from ProSource Glass about a year ago and it was an easy fit and fine quality. I also had purchased one for my Merkur XR4Ti a few years from the same people. I believe they are in Massachusetts but freight was reasonable because Richard combined mine with other make windshields to the Seattle area. I believe I paid around $315 plus $100 freight.
The Porsche dealer ones were $595.00 at the time and in clear only. |
