Where in northern LA County or Ventura County can I buy a front windshield? I've heard Porsche still sells them, and they are really expensive. Where can I get a decent aftermarket one?
Also, I'd appreciate any recommendations for installers. I may try to do this myself, but I want to call around anyway, if for no other reason than to see how much money I'd save if I did it myself. I did a search on this site and didn't find anything. |

I would agree ...BUT...many of the chain glass places will only do installs with Urethane cement/adhesive due to liability reasons.
Our car wasn't designed for such ridged mount of the windshield and I can tell you from 1st hand experience (depending on the condition of your car & your local roads) it may not survive its inaugural drive if you use it, vs Butyl |
