Yes - I remember that a rebuilt one of these at one of the good doctors clinics, no I don’t remember much from it. I blame the kids.

I bought a otherwise good side shifter from Dan and it came with new first gear bits. I’ve got the rear cover off and other than following the step by step over on Pelican I was wondering if there’s anything else I need to be aware of?

Edit - with it being loose anything to do with the intermediate plate except the gasket when the cover goes back on?
