Back to the late 70's, the ride along (in a jump-seat) in this 917/30.
Car was in the ownership of Otis Chandler, I won a ride for 20 minutes around Riverside Int'l Raceway...I was hypnotized by that raucous symphony. Over 200+mph down the back straight (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) This was the Talledega record car...which was formerly in the Cam 2 livery for the record run. BTW Otis also owned the Gulf 917 in the pic. |
