QUOTE(73p914 @ Nov 30 2004, 10:53 AM) what about my mass flow air sensor. how do i bypass that also because i know it lowers power also... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif) who ever told you that needs to be kicked in the nuts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) remove that and your motor will not work PERIOD...you need to read* and get some information on how your FI works before screwing around with it.... like mentioned earlier, better exhaust (header or heat exhangers from a '74 or older) will help the only smog an L-Jet should have is the cat. converter I believe (due to it being a better, cleaner FI than the D-Jet) your next jump to get an increase in power is to open up the motor and that gets expensive... are you sure it's been properly tuned up? huge differance sometimes just by doing that.... *do a google search for L-Jet, there are some great web sites out there for it... |
