I have seen in perf. Products catalogs aluminium (?) valve covers for the 914. They say these dont warp, run cooler....Any real world experiences out there? Mine work fine, and i can think of other ways of spending $100..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

I dont know about Type 4 engines, but in Type 1 engine they are ..... crap. I tested some stupid EMPI valve covers and they didnt suppress the valvetrain noise any better. They leak and they..... dont even look better. I recommend to use the money in some other and better way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
